Amimoni is a Greek non-profit dedicated to providing every person with visual impairments and additional disabilities personalized education, care and support throughout their lives, while empowering their family. Their programs aim to support every multiply disabled visually impaired person in Greece to receive the education and treatment they need, to use their capabilities in full and to live autonomously and with dignity all their lives and still, for their family to have the support and care they need to be able to meet their increased needs.

Volunteering Activity Description:

Volunteers will engage in administrative tasks related to specific projects, including managing social media and organizing promotional events. They will also assist in the management of these projects, working with the team to enhance visibility and effectiveness. This role offers a chance to contribute to impactful programs supporting individuals with visual impairments and additional disabilities.

Volunteer Duties:
-Participate in the management and creation of content for social media platforms to promote specific projects.
-Assist in organizing and executing promotional activities and events.
-Contribute to the management and coordination of specific projects.
-Collaborate with the community to enhance program visibility and engagement.
-Support the administrative team with various tasks related to project implementation.

Qualifications the volunteer should posses:
-Interested in civil society and in particular in issues affecting people with disabilities.
-Very good written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team.
-Knowledge of social media management
-Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges and learn.

Hosting Organization provides:
The Hosting organization can offer a Certificate of participation. Laptops may be provided.
