The Greek Eco Project is an environmental organization founded in 2020 by a group of sensitized people of different backgrounds with a common denominator of love and respect for the natural environment. Based in Thessaloniki. Through our continuous environmental actions, we try to protect the environment. Because we feel the deep responsibility that falls upon us and because we believe that what you love you must protect and keep it safe individually and collectively, as our every little act is a big breath for the earth.

Volunteering Activity Description:

Volunteers at Greek Eco Project participate in both field and administrative tasks. Field volunteers support upcycling workshops in Thessaloniki, creating products from recycled materials, while administrative volunteers assist in proposal writing for external funding, social media promotion, and collecting data on marine pollution. The roles aim to promote environmental sustainability and circular economy principles.

Volunteer Duties:
-Support in the creation of upcycled products from plastic waste at workshops in Thessaloniki.
-Promote Greek Eco Project activities on social media platforms.
-Collect and analyze data on local marine pollution issues and the impact of environmental actions.
-Assist in writing proposals for international funding opportunities and providing secretarial support.

-English level B2+,
